Annual Free Rabies Clinic

The Waterford Township Annual Free Rabies Clinic for Dogs and Cats will be held on Saturday March 3rd, 2012 at the Waterford Township EMS Hall on the White Horse Pike. It will run from 9am until 11am. Dog licensing will also be available for the following fees.

Spayed / Neutered Dogs $8.20 each
Unspayed / Unneutered Dogs $11.20 each

The township’s leaf collection schedule is posted on their website. Have your leaves raked to the edge of the road and without any other yard debris such as limbs, brush or branches). DO NOT BAG LEAVES!

HALLOWEEN is Monday, October 31, 2011 and the official hours will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Curfew is in effect and anyone under 18 has to be off the streets unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Township Curfew Information is as follows:

IT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY MINOR UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS TO REMAIN IN OR UPON ANY PUBLIC PLACE OR ESTABLISHMENT AFTER THE HOUR OF 8:00 PM UNTIL 6:00 AM FOR A FULL SEVEN (7) DAYS BEFORE AND A FULL SEVEN (7) DAYS AFTER THE DAY CELEBRATED AS HALLOWEEN UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY THE PARENT, GUARDIAN OR OTHER ADULT PERSON HAVING THE CARE, CUSTODY OR CONTROL OF SUCH MINOR. (ORDINANCE 80-13, SECTION 61-2B)

Hawaiin Themed Bingo Night

The Sunshine Foundation’s All Volunteer Hammonton Wishing Well Chapter will be hosting the Annual Bingo Dinner and Hawaiian Luau.

October 12, 2011

Doors open at 5:30 pm followed by a sit down dinner at 6:30 pm. The event will be held at Shannon’s Country House with, bingo, gifts, prizes and lots of fun. The luau is Hawaiian themed so a grass skirt is a must. The tickets are $30 and all proceeds benefit the Sunshine Foundation and help make dreams come true for the sick children. The Hammonton Wishing Well All Volunteer Chapter is one of the many chapters in the New Jersey Area, they hold a bingo night every year to raise money for the Sunshine Foundation.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Waterford Township’s Water System

Waterford Township’s Water System has experienced an electrical disturbance caused by the effects of Hurricane Irene. While the Township has taken immediate action to rectify the situation, some residents may temporarily experience a cloudy appearance to their water.

It has been determined that the cloudy appearance is the result of the release of minor concentrations of iron, and therefore is not a health concern. While the appearance may temporarily be displeasing your water is safe. We do recommended that you run your water for an elongated period of time to remove this discoloration prior to running a load of wash or using an automated ice making machine.

At the Waterford Twp Police Station on July 22nd, starting at dusk.

They will be showing Despicable Me.

Bring your lawn chair, blanket and bug spray for an evening under the stars with friends and a good movie.

Have a great 4th of July Weekend!! Whatever you do, do it safely and have a fun time.

Leave the fireworks to the professionals and go see them somewhere where they are putting on a real show. Besides, its totally illegal to shoot off fireworks in your own yard or anywhere in the state of New Jersey. Berlin Township is having fireworks so go see them there or one of the many other places that will be having a display!
