There are some great concerts that come to the Scottish Rite Auditorium. This venue dates way back and its kind of a Camden County secret. This historic 1930s art deco venue is an intimate theater with just over 1000 seats. It has nearly perfect acoustics, making every seat great. Free parking and it’s just minutes from Philadelphia and surrounding New Jersey communities. Some concerts coming up includeDave Mason and Dr. John on March 13th and Rosanne Cash on April 18th. It’s a fantastic place to see a concert!

Camden County to Suspend Seasonal Flu Shots Schedule Until More Vaccine Arrives

For Immediate Release: October 16, 2009

Camden County is suspending its schedule for free flu shots for Seasonal Flu beginning Monday, October 19, pending delivery of more Seasonal Flu vaccine.

The existing flu shot schedule through November 13 will be replaced by an updated and revised schedule when more vaccine arrives, and the County is able to resume its Seasonal Flu shot vaccinations.

The new schedule will be posted on camdencoutny.com and provided to local media outlets, including newspapers and TV stations.

In the meantime, those needing flu shots should contact their private physicians or one of the retail outlets, such as CVS and Walgreen’s, that have Seasonal Flu shot programs. Call in advance for availability.

If you have other questions, call the Camden County Department of Health and Human Services at 1-800-999-9045.

FREE Flu Shots Postponed

Well we went to get our free flu shots this moning but we were greeted in the parking lot and told that it was postponed. They said they didn’t have the vaccine. We asked “Postponed until when?” and they couldn’t tell us whether it would be rescheduled at our Atco Elementary School location or not. So it looks like the next chance at a close location would be October 17th at Berlin Community School, 215 South Franklin Ave in Berlin. I would check the Camden County website to be sure before you go. www.camdencounty.com
